MISHA knee system

Patients are indicated for an  implantable shock absorber (ISA) procedure if they suffer from medial knee OA pain and are not ready for arthroplasty.

FDA Authorizes Marketing of MISHA™ Knee System.

The MISHA Knee System is an implant for patients suffering from painful knee OA. Knee joint overload can lead to the initiation or progression of osteoarthritis.

Unloading the joint can allow the knee to thrive in a more favorable mechanical environment, resulting in reduced pain and symptoms.

The MISHA Knee System acts as an implantable shock absorber (ISA), reducing peak forces on the knee by over 30% with every step.

The MISHA Knee System is relatively new and has not been widely adopted yet. However, early clinical studies have shown promising results, with patients experiencing significant pain relief and improved mobility after undergoing the procedure.

Surgical procedure
  • Standard orthopedic instruments and single-use ISA-specific instruments.
  • Surgical techniques familiar to orthopedic surgeons.
  • No weight bearing or range of motion restrictions required.
  • No device-imposed limitations on return to activity.

As with any medical procedure, it is important to consult with a qualified healthcare provider to determine if the MISHA Knee System is the right treatment option for your specific condition.
