Terry-Thomas sign

- It is defined as an increase in the scapholunate space on an antroposterior X ray of the wrist. 

- This indicates scapholunate dissociation (with or without rotary subluxation of the scaphoid) due to ligamentous injury. 

- There is a space of 3 or 4 mm in this case.
